ANSR’s new report finds over 174 Fortune Global 500 companies have established 390+ GCCs in India, driving global innovation, AI, and enterprise-wide transformation
India: The world’s largest and most influential enterprises are rapidly reshaping their global operating models through GCCs India. According to the newly released Fortune Global 500 GCCs in India Landscape Report 2025 by ANSR, 67% of the Fortune Global 30 and over one-third of the entire Fortune Global 500 now run Global Capability Centers (GCCs) in India.
The report, developed by ANSR in collaboration with UnearthInsight, examines the operating models, talent trends, and innovation maturity across 174 Fortune 500 companies that have established over 390 centers across India. These centers now employ 950,000+ professionals, with a growing share of global functional leadership based in India.

Over 67% of Fortune Global 30 and 174 of the Fortune 500 have GCCs in India, indicating a decisive pivot from traditional outsourcing to embedded strategic ownership. - GCCs are becoming second headquarters.
Indian GCCs now house senior functional leaders with global P&L responsibilities. In many cases, they serve as global Centers of Excellence for AI, GenAI, cybersecurity, and product engineering. - Bengaluru and Hyderabad dominate the map.
