IDFC FIRST Bank has introduced an AI-powered holographic digital avatar of India’s iconic actor Amitabh Bachchan. This cutting-edge technology, known as Holographic Extended Reality (HXR), allows customers to interact with the actor’s digital representation to learn about various banking products and services. The first such device has been launched at the Juhu branch in Mumbai, with plans to expand to other high-traffic branches and key locations nationwide.
Developed in collaboration with Ikonz Studios, the HXR device offers touch-enabled interactions, allowing customers to access details on services such as Zero Fee Banking, Monthly Interest Credits, Mobile Banking, and the exclusive Current Account BRAVO. The bank plans to integrate additional services in future phases. The content provided by the avatar is carefully scripted for clarity and engagement, ensuring that the bank’s offerings are presented in a personalized and accessible manner.
