Deloitte Launches Asia Pacific Agentic AI Centre of Excellence to Accelerate Autonomous AI Adoption

Deloitte has announced the launch of its Asia Pacific Agentic AI Centre of Excellence (CoE) across India, Malaysia, and Singapore, with the aim of accelerating the enterprise adoption of autonomous AI systems. The new centre, supported by over 6,000 AI professionals and a project pipeline exceeding $1 billion, is set to serve as a regional hub of innovation and forms a key part of Deloitte’s Global Agentic Network, which links AI centres across North America, EMEA, and the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.

“This centre positions us to help clients reimagine the very nature of work… going beyond automation and efficiency to unlock entirely new sources of value,” said Sathish Gopalaiah, President – Technology & Transformation, Deloitte South Asia.

Unlike traditional AI and automation technologies that focus primarily on task-level efficiency, Agentic AI involves intelligent systems capable of independent decision-making, execution, and adaptation of critical business functions across domains like finance, procurement, sales, and marketing. These systems go a step further than passive automation, enabling a future where enterprises can delegate complex processes to dynamic AI agents.

The CoE will leverage India’s strong engineering talent pool and digital infrastructure to develop scalable agentic AI solutions designed for global deployment, with particular focus on industries such as financial services, healthcare, and manufacturing.

Deloitte’s alliance with NVIDIA and its proprietary Zora AI platform will play a crucial role in powering the CoE’s initiatives. The centre will provide clients with reusable AI frameworks, rapid prototyping environments, and industry-specific experimentation capabilities, enabling faster innovation and deployment cycles.

Central to the initiative is Deloitte’s emphasis on “Trustworthy AI”—a commitment to ethical AI practices, transparency, accountability, and safety. The company underscored that this new CoE represents a transformative shift in AI’s role in the enterprise—from functioning as a backend automation tool to serving as a strategic decision-making engine at the heart of business transformation.

With this strategic move, Deloitte aims to position itself at the forefront of the next wave of enterprise AI, empowering businesses to not only automate but to innovate, adapt, and lead with intelligent autonomy.
