Dave & Buster’s Inc. has named Tarun Lal as its new Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors. Lal joins the company with over 25 years of leadership experience, most notably at Yum! Brands, where he built a strong reputation for driving growth, digital innovation, and operational excellence.
Before this appointment, Lal served as President of KFC US, overseeing nationwide operations and playing a key role in enhancing the brand’s position in the competitive market. His leadership helped strengthen KFC’s footprint across the United States by focusing on operational efficiency and customer engagement.
In addition to his role in the US, Lal has held several critical leadership positions globally. He was the Global Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director for KFC, managing markets in the Middle East, Africa, India, and other regions. This global exposure has equipped him with a deep understanding of diverse markets and the ability to lead complex, cross-functional teams effectively.
Lal is widely recognized for his strategic vision combined with a people-first leadership style, which has been pivotal in successfully guiding diverse teams across various international markets.
