Computer Modelling Group Ltd. (CMG), a global leader in advanced reservoir simulation technology, has appointed Mr. Vipin Khullar, CPA, CA as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This appointment marks a strategic leadership addition as CMG advances its transformation journey and accelerates its growth ambitions.

Proven Experience in Scaling Software Businesses
Mr. Khullar joins CMG from the Perseus Operating Group of Constellation Software Inc., where he most recently served as CFO. In this role, he led a portfolio of vertical market software businesses, focusing on acquisition-led growth, integration, financial rigor, and sustainable value creation. Prior to that, he held various senior finance roles with IBM Canada, further deepening his expertise in enterprise finance and operations.

Mr. Khullar holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Toronto Metropolitan University and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA). He will be based in Toronto, Ontario.
Leadership Continuity with a Strong Finance Foundation
As part of this transition, Sandra Balic, who has served as CMG’s CFO, will assume the role of Vice President, Finance. Sandra has been a steady and trusted leader throughout CMG’s transformation, overseeing strong financial controls, compliance, and governance. In her new capacity, she will continue to play a pivotal role in CMG’s finance function, focusing on public company compliance and reporting, while working closely with Mr. Khullar to scale finance capabilities in alignment with CMG’s growth strategy.
