Indore-based edtech startup Arivihan has raised $4.17 million (approximately INR 36.54 crore) in a Pre-Series A funding round co-led by Prosus and Accel, with additional participation from GSF Investors.
The company plans to channel the fresh capital into scaling its operations, with a strong focus on enhancing its AI research capabilities and expanding language support. The investment will also support hiring initiatives, digital marketing strategies for deeper market reach, and strengthening its on-ground marketing and distribution efforts.
Founded in 2024 by Ritesh Singh, Sonu Kumar Prashant, and Rushabh Kothari, Arivihan uses artificial intelligence to deliver personalised education to K-11 and K-12 students. The platform positions itself as a 100% automated learning solution that acts like a personal tutor in each student’s pocket, priced at INR 300 per month. It provides users with exam planning guidance, video lectures, interactive conversations, and more.
“Arivihan stood out as an AI-native learning platform purpose-built for India’s aspirational students, combining deep personalisation with scalable impact. Their first-principles approach to product and distribution gives them a real shot at transforming how millions of students learn and succeed,” said Dhruv Gupta, an investor at Prosus.
Arivihan was also part of Accel India’s Atoms 3.0, the third cohort of its six-month pre-seed accelerator programme.
The funding comes amid heightened investor interest in AI-led innovation across sectors. According to a recent report by Inc42, India’s AI startup space is poised to touch a $17 billion market opportunity by 2030, with over 420,000 AI professionals already active in the country.
Notably, the edtech space has seen renewed funding activity, with Inc42 recently reporting that AI-powered education startup speakX is set to raise $11 million.
