This landmark move signals the agency’s intent to deepen its footprint in the Indian market and accelerate digital innovation. With a distinguished career spanning 25 years, Ghosh brings a unique blend of strategic insight, digital transformation expertise, and growth-oriented leadership to his new role.
Prior to joining Assembly, Ghosh served as Head of Data and Technology Partnerships at Google, where he spearheaded transformative initiatives for top-tier clients. Notably, he also co-authored the Cloud Martech proposition for Google Cloud Platform in India, playing a pivotal role in shaping the adoption of advanced marketing technologies.
Ghosh’s experience also includes his role as Managing Director – India at Jellyfish, a global digital marketing agency, where he oversaw operational growth and team expansion. In addition, he served as a Visiting Professor at IIM Bangalore, where he guided future business leaders in digital marketing and programmatic advertising.
Over the years, Alap has held key positions at high-impact organizations such as MarketsandMarkets™, Syntropic Systems, Madhouse (WPP), Komli Media, Mobango, Media.net, and Enpocket India. Across these roles, he has been at the forefront of strategy, product growth, and the adoption of technology-led media solutions, whether in OTT expansion, mobile advertising ecosystems, or scaling programmatic platforms.
Ghosh is known for leveraging advanced analytics, machine learning applications, and global GTM strategies to build future-ready media ecosystems.
