L&T Valves has announced the appointment of Venkatesh S as its new Chief Executive, marking a pivotal development in the company’s leadership. With a career spanning more than three decades in the valves and flow solutions industry, Venkatesh steps into the role with a wealth of global experience and a deep understanding of strategic markets, especially in the Asia Pacific region. His promotion highlights L&T Valves’ focus on strengthening its global presence and leveraging leadership with international insight.
Before taking over as Chief Executive, Venkatesh held several key leadership roles within L&T Valves. Most recently, he served as Vice President – Global Sales, and earlier as Global Head of Sales, where he played a critical role in driving business development and expanding global sales operations. “He was instrumental in driving worldwide sales and business development,” highlighting his impact on L&T Valves’ growth trajectory in recent years.
Venkatesh’s association with the L&T ecosystem is long-standing. His earlier stints included positions such as Joint General Manager – Business Development (Asia Pacific) and Deputy General Manager – International Sales at Larsen & Toubro Limited, where he contributed significantly to the company’s expansion in strategic international markets. These roles reinforced his reputation as a key contributor to L&T’s global outreach and market penetration.
In addition to his roles within the L&T group, Venkatesh also gained valuable international experience at AE VALVES, Belgium, where he served as Director – Business Development (Asia Pacific) and later as Sales Director – Asia Pacific & India. Operating out of Kuala Lumpur, he spearheaded the company’s initiatives in marketing cryogenic and severe service valves across major global regions.
Venkatesh began his professional journey at Audco India Limited, laying a strong technical foundation in valve manufacturing and engineering. His professional journey, which spans across China, Malaysia, and broader Asia Pacific territories, positions him as a leader with a distinct global perspective.
With his appointment, L&T Valves is poised to further strengthen its international footprint under a leader who brings both strategic vision and in-depth industry expertise.
