ManipalCigna Health Insurance Company Ltd. has announced the appointment of Joydeep Saha FIAI as its new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, marking a major leadership transition at the health insurance provider. “Joydeep Saha FIAI takes on the position of Managing Director & CEO at ManipalCigna Health Insurance Company Ltd., marking a key leadership transition at the health insurer.” His elevation comes at a time when the company is poised for its next phase of innovation and expansion within India’s dynamic healthcare landscape.
With over 15 years of experience in the health insurance and actuarial domain, Joydeep has played a central role in ManipalCigna’s transformation journey. “With over 15 years in the health insurance and actuarial domain, Joydeep has been a pivotal figure in ManipalCigna’s transformation journey.” His leadership has been instrumental in driving innovation across actuarial practices, reinsurance strategies, group underwriting, and data-driven product development.
Prior to this appointment, Joydeep held the position of Appointed Actuary and Chief of Actuarial, Reinsurance, Products, Analytics & Group Underwriting at both ManipalCigna and its predecessor Cigna TTK Health Insurance Company Limited. During this tenure, he contributed significantly to enhancing product portfolios and deploying advanced analytics to support risk assessment and customer segmentation.

His expertise in actuarial science, product strategy, and regulatory frameworks has earned him recognition as a thought leader in the industry.
