His deep domain expertise aligns with Razorpay’s mission to innovate securely and maintain the highest levels of trust among customers, merchants, and partners.
Prior to joining Razorpay, Praveen Parihar served at Maya, where he played a critical role in providing anti-fraud guidance for banking products and digital services. He also supported the development of fraud detection technologies and reported on key risk indicators impacting wallets and banking operations.
Before his time at Maya, Parihar held various strategic positions across fintech and cybersecurity domains. The startup was later acquired by an angel investor, marking a successful exit and underscoring his ability to scale secure digital products from the ground up.
Widely recognized as a visionary trainer, dynamic speaker, and dedicated cybersecurity researcher, Praveen has contributed significantly to the domains of fraud prevention and cybersecurity thought leadership.
Razorpay’s leadership, including Supriya S, Nishitha Kuriyas, Akshay Jindal, and Chitbhanu Nagri, ensured a seamless onboarding process.
