Delta Electronics India unveiled a series of cutting-edge manufacturing innovations at SEMICON India 2025 in Delhi, an event inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The company showcased collaborative robots (cobots), a digital twin platform, an advanced screwdriving system, and integrated semiconductor assembly solutions, all powered by its smart manufacturing architecture.
Prime Minister Modi highlighted the significance of India’s progress in the semiconductor space, stating, “Semiconductor factories are coming up in India, and the country will see its first domestically made chip in the market by the end of 2025.” He also spoke about the country’s rapid march toward a “Made in India” 6G network, marking a leap forward in India’s digital infrastructure and capabilities.
Benjamin Lin, President of Delta Electronics India, expressed the company’s commitment to this transformation, saying, “India is at the cusp of a semiconductor and electronics revolution, and Delta is proud to contribute to this transformation with future-ready technologies.”
Among Delta’s key innovations were its cobots, offering payload capacities from six to 30 kg and equipped with advanced safety features like instant stoppage upon contact. These robots also integrate AI-enabled interaction, ensuring higher productivity and safe human-machine collaboration. Another highlight was the DIATwin Virtual Machine Development Platform, which helps reduce new product development time by 20% through real-time simulation with production data, allowing faster innovation cycles.
The company also underscored its focus on sustainability and reliability, showcasing energy management solutions, facility monitoring systems, and adopting the SEMI E187 cybersecurity certification for semiconductor equipment.
Niranjan Nayak, Managing Director of Delta Electronics India, reinforced the company’s long-term vision: “Through investments in robotics, digital twins and green technologies, we are ensuring that India’s manufacturing ecosystem is competitive and resilient.”
Following the launch of its D-Bot Series earlier at ELECRAMA 2025, Delta’s latest announcements position it as a major enabler of India’s ambition to become a global semiconductor hub, strengthening its manufacturing backbone with innovation, automation, and sustainable solutions.
