Uno Minda has announced the appointment of Garima Garg as its Group Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), underscoring the company’s commitment to strengthening its people-first culture and talent strategy. Garima steps into this role after a highly impactful tenure at ReNew, where she spent nearly five years in senior HR leadership positions.
At ReNew, she most recently served as CHRO – Manufacturing, driving HR strategy for the company’s manufacturing vertical. Earlier, she held key roles including Senior Vice President – HR for Solar Projects, Manufacturing, Projects, and O&M, and Vice President – HR and Talent Head, where she led several initiatives in talent management, organisational transformation, and leadership development. Her efforts were instrumental in shaping the renewable energy firm’s people agenda and building a future-ready workforce.
Before joining ReNew, Garima had a distinguished consulting career, serving as Director at Deloitte and working with Korn Ferry Hay Group, where she advised large organisations on people strategy, culture building, and change management. She also gained early career experience at PwC, HSBC, and Genpact, building strong expertise in HR business partnering, learning and development, and workforce planning.
With over 20 years of HR leadership and consulting experience, Garima brings deep knowledge of talent strategy, employee engagement, and organisational development. Her appointment is expected to play a pivotal role in aligning Uno Minda’s people strategy with its business goals, fostering a culture of performance, and supporting the company’s growth ambitions in the automotive sector.
