
Lululemon has announced the appointment of Ranju Das as its new Chief Technology and AI Officer, a move aimed at accelerating the company’s technology-driven growth and enhancing customer experiences across both digital and physical retail channels. Based in Seattle, Das will spearhead lululemon’s global technology and AI strategy, playing a central role in strengthening the brand’s innovation journey.

Das joins lululemon with a proven track record of leadership in technology and AI. Most recently, he served as CEO of Swan AI Studios, where he focused on advancing AI applications for enterprise use cases. Prior to that, he was CEO of OptumLabs at UnitedHealth Group, leading innovation in health tech.
During his tenure at Amazon, Das played a key role in shaping Amazon’s AI initiatives, driving the growth of Amazon AI Services and Amazon Prime Photos. Earlier in his career, he was instrumental in developing digital platforms at Barnes & Noble, Inc., helping the company strengthen its e-commerce and digital content capabilities.
With a deep background spanning AI, cloud computing, e-commerce, and enterprise software, Das is expected to significantly accelerate lululemon’s digital transformation initiatives. His focus will include advancing AI-driven personalization, optimizing operational efficiencies, and enhancing technology solutions that support lululemon’s mission to create meaningful connections with customers.
