
Ravi Kumar S, Chief Executive Officer of Cognizant, has been appointed Chair of the newly launched NASSCOM US CEO Forum, an initiative announced at the Consulate General of India in New York. The forum aims to deepen U.S.–India collaboration in technology, innovation, and digital transformation, bringing together leading executives from the global tech ecosystem.
Ravi Kumar’s appointment underscores his reputation as a global leader with deep expertise in cross-border business transformation and technology-driven growth. Alongside his role at Cognizant, he serves as an Independent Director at TransUnion, a Board Member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and a Governor at The New York Academy of Sciences. His active involvement with organizations such as the U.S.–India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) and the International Tennis Hall of Fame further reflects his commitment to strengthening global collaboration across industries and geographies.
Prior to joining Cognizant, Ravi Kumar spent over two decades at Infosys, where he served as President and Global Head of Service Lines. In this capacity, he oversaw diverse business portfolios spanning consulting, technology, infrastructure, engineering, and process management. He also played a key role in leading Infosys BPM, Infosys Public Services, and the Infosys Foundation USA, shaping initiatives that bridged innovation and social impact.
Throughout his career, Ravi Kumar has held influential governance and advisory positions at organizations such as AdvanceCT, Digimarc, and Sapient Corporation, earning recognition for his ability to integrate business strategy with technological foresight. His leadership has been instrumental in driving inclusive digital ecosystems and nurturing bilateral partnerships between enterprises and governments.
As Chair of the NASSCOM US CEO Forum, Ravi Kumar is expected to leverage his extensive industry experience and global network to foster deeper U.S.–India technology cooperation, champion digital innovation, and promote the shared vision of building a resilient, future-ready tech economy.
