In a strategic move to accelerate AI-driven analytics innovation, Exasol, the provider of the world’s fastest Analytics Engine, has partnered with adesso, Germany’s largest IT services firm, to open the Exasol Tech Hub in Chennai, India. Operated by adesso India, the new hub is designed to bring together top-tier engineering talent focused on advancing the Exasol Analytics Engine — with a core emphasis on building AI-native capabilities that transform complex enterprise data into faster, actionable insights.
The initiative underscores both companies’ shared commitment to product innovation and engineering excellence, embedding artificial intelligence across the entire analytics lifecycle — from intelligent workload optimization to AI-assisted insight generation. This collaboration aims to make analytics more adaptive, automated, and accessible for businesses operating in hybrid and cloud environments.
Chennai was selected as the location for this expansion due to its robust IT ecosystem and deep pool of skilled data engineering professionals. The Tech Hub will serve as a center of excellence for AI-ready analytics, focusing on key areas such as cloud-native deployment, ecosystem integrations, and enhanced AI features. Its mission is to help enterprises shorten time-to-insight, optimize operational costs, and scale analytics capabilities confidently across distributed environments.
Speaking on the launch, Joerg Tewes, CEO of Exasol, stated, “The India Tech Hub will significantly strengthen our core development capabilities. By integrating AI deeper into the Exasol Analytics Engine, we’ll deliver simpler, faster paths from raw data to high-impact insights.”
Mark Lohweber, CEO of adesso SE, added, “Together, we are building AI-enabled analytics foundations that will deliver lasting value to enterprises worldwide.”
The creation of the Chennai Tech Hub marks a pivotal step in Exasol and adesso’s global innovation strategy.
