Siemens and Capgemini Expand Alliance to Build AI-Native Industrial Solutions Across Engineering and Manufacturing

Global technology leaders Siemens and Capgemini have strengthened their long-standing partnership to co-develop AI-native digital solutions aimed at transforming product engineering, manufacturing, and operations. Unlike traditional systems where artificial intelligence functions as an add-on, these new solutions are designed with AI embedded from inception, driving significant gains in efficiency, quality, sustainability, and time-to-market across 16 critical industrial domains.

By integrating Siemens’ expertise in industrial software, automation, and electrification with Capgemini’s strengths in engineering and digital business transformation, the collaboration seeks to deliver tangible outcomes for enterprises accelerating their digital transformation journeys.

Highlighting the synergy between the two organizations, Cedrik Neike, CEO of Digital Industries and Member of the Managing Board of Siemens AG, explained, “For our customers Capgemini is like a compass – deeply familiar with our customers’ challenges and ambitions. Siemens provides the engine: Technologies like industrial AI, digital twins, and automation.”

Aiman Ezzat, CEO of the Capgemini Group, echoed this sentiment, adding, “By combining our strengths, our ambition is to help clients navigate complexity and realize tangible business impact, setting new benchmarks for operational efficiency.”

The enhanced alliance has already delivered measurable results across industries. For Airbus, Siemens and Capgemini are deploying advanced digitalization strategies to support decarbonization goals, targeting a 20% reduction in energy consumption and an 85% cut in emissions by 2030. In the pharmaceutical sector, their collaboration with Sanofi is leveraging generative AI-powered digital systems to streamline production processes — reducing deviations by 80% and review time by 70%. Meanwhile, for GravitHy, the partners are optimizing hydrogen production with digitalized industrial workflows, aiming for a 10% reduction in production costs.

Operating across more than 20 countries, Siemens and Capgemini are now setting a global benchmark for AI-driven industrial innovation, redefining how businesses approach manufacturing intelligence and sustainability. By embedding AI at the core of product and process design, the partnership is reshaping the future of smart factories and intelligent enterprises.
