Based in Kolkata, Nilesh brings with him over two decades of diverse industry experience spanning automotive, oil and gas, energy, metals, and building materials. His appointment reinforces PCBL Chemical’s focus on strengthening leadership and accelerating its transformation agenda to meet the evolving demands of the global market.
A graduate of the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM-A), Nilesh is widely recognized for his strategic foresight, operational excellence, and ability to lead large-scale business transformations. His leadership style is characterized by a strong commitment to innovation, sustainability, and customer-centric value creation—qualities that align with PCBL Chemical’s mission to redefine the future of chemical manufacturing.
Before joining PCBL Chemical, Nilesh held senior leadership positions at some of the world’s most prominent organizations, including Hindalco Industries Limited, Holcim, Pidilite Industries Limited, and bp (Castrol). As Senior President & CEO – Aluminium Downstream at Hindalco, he played a pivotal role in driving the division’s global competitiveness, operational transformation, and strategic expansion into new markets.
During his tenure at LafargeHolcim, Nilesh served as Group Head of Commercial and Head of Transformation, Growth & Innovation, where he was instrumental in driving post-merger synergies and embedding customer-first business models across multiple regions. Earlier in his career at bp (Castrol), he managed operations across 45 countries, built iconic consumer brands, and established high-impact OEM partnerships that significantly expanded the company’s global footprint.
