Reliance Jio has expanded its collaboration with Google, announcing 18 months of free access to Google AI Pro for all Jio 5G users. Previously limited to subscribers aged 18–25, the offer has now been extended to every user on Jio’s 5G network, marking a major step in mainstreaming premium AI services across India. The move follows the recent announcement of Jio and Google partnering to integrate Gemini’s advanced AI tools into the Indian digital ecosystem at no additional cost.
Under this offer, any Jio 5G user with an active unlimited plan can activate their complimentary Google AI Pro subscription through the MyJio app. The service, typically priced at ₹1,950 per month, includes access to Gemini 2.5 Pro, higher generation limits for image and video creation using Nano Banana and Veo 3.1 models, and 2TB of cloud storage. Additionally, users can access advanced features such as NotebookLM for academic and research purposes. The combined benefits are valued at approximately ₹35,100 over the 18-month period.
Through this initiative, Jio aims to democratize access to artificial intelligence, enabling millions of users to experience advanced AI capabilities in their daily lives. “The initiative aims to make powerful AI accessible to everyone, empowering users to integrate Google’s advanced tools into daily life,” Jio said in a statement.
