
Birla Precision Technologies Ltd has appointed Shelendra Singh as its new Chief Human Resources Officer, marking a significant addition to its leadership team as the company strengthens its focus on people development, operational excellence, and long-term organisational growth. Singh brings over 14 years of comprehensive HR leadership experience across manufacturing and industrial environments, with a career grounded in organisational development, capability enhancement, and people transformation. His background positions him strongly to support Birla Precision Technologies’ expansion and workforce evolution.
Before joining Birla Precision, Singh spent nearly a decade at Nuvoco Vistas Corp. Ltd., where he progressed through several pivotal HR roles, including General Manager – HR, DGM – HR, AGM – HR and Senior Manager – HR. During his tenure, he played an instrumental role in advancing the company’s performance management architecture, introducing high-impact HR interventions, and strengthening industrial relations across diverse business locations. His contributions extended to designing talent development programmes, enhancing capability-building initiatives, and supporting strategic business objectives, enabling Nuvoco to scale effectively across multiple regions.
Singh’s earlier experience includes a strong foundation built at Lafarge India Pvt. Ltd., where he oversaw HR and Learning & Development responsibilities at the Chittorgarh operations. This role deepened his expertise in employee development, organisational culture, and HR operations within a complex industrial setup. His formative years with the Aditya Birla Group and Hindalco further broadened his competencies in talent management, L&D, industrial relations, organisational development, and performance systems. These early assignments shaped his holistic HR perspective and strengthened his ability to build people-centric strategies in large, multi-location organisations.
Across his career, Singh has been recognised for developing sustainable HR frameworks, driving change management initiatives, and fostering high-performance cultures in industrial environments. His experience in handling diverse workforce challenges and building capability-led ecosystems aligns closely with Birla Precision Technologies’ goal of accelerating its operational and organisational transformation.
With his appointment as CHRO, Singh is expected to play a central role in strengthening HR systems, nurturing talent pipelines, and supporting the company’s vision for innovation-driven growth, workforce capability enhancement, and sustained organisational excellence.
