Pooja Bansal has announced that she has joined NopalCyber as Senior Director, marking a significant step in her cybersecurity career. Sharing the update, she said she is “delighted to share that she has joined NopalCyber as Senior Director.” With a deep background in security strategy, governance, and enterprise resilience, her appointment comes at a pivotal time as organisations continue to prioritise trusted digital growth and security-led transformation.
Reflecting on her move, she noted, “Cybersecurity has been my space for years where strategy meets resilience and where transformation quietly becomes real. In my new role, I’ll be working with business leaders to enable secure and trusted digital growth, strengthen cyber resilience, and drive security transformation that delivers outcomes (not just impressive dashboards).” She also shared that she will lead strategic OEM partnerships, help shape the service portfolio, support GTM and solution strategy, and scale delivery frameworks that drive high-impact engagements. “What motivates me is the opportunity to build capabilities, teams, partnerships, and outcomes that position Nopal Cyber for its next phase of growth.”
Bansal brings over a decade of progressive cybersecurity leadership experience, most recently at Fareportal, where she held multiple senior roles. As Senior Director (Jun 2025 – Oct 2025), she led Information Security, Fraud Investigations, and Internal Audit, strengthening enterprise resilience through enhanced GRC discipline, SOC readiness, and integrated threat-led defensive and offensive capabilities. Before that, as Director – Information Security (Apr 2023 – Jun 2025), she drove the company’s cybersecurity strategy, incident response, threat assessments, and compliance with ISO 27001 and PCI DSS.
Earlier at Fareportal, she served as Associate Director – Information Security (Jan 2021 – Mar 2023), where she led GRC, directed fraud investigations, and managed SOC transformation initiatives. Prior to this, she headed Information Security at IGT Solutions (Apr 2019 – Jan 2021), establishing the organisation’s security roadmap, controls, and threat management programs.
Her experience also includes leading the GRC function at InterGlobe Enterprises (Aug 2017 – Mar 2019), and earlier roles at PwC, where she spent over five years across cyber advisory positions.
Bansal summarised her excitement for the journey ahead by saying she feels “energised for this chapter and the meaningful work ahead.”
