Sameer Wanchoo Appointed as Chief Marketing Officer at VIP Industries

Sameer Wanchoo begins a new chapter, taking charge of marketing strategy at one of India’s most iconic consumer brands. His appointment comes at a time when VIP Industries is sharpening its focus on brand reinvention, consumer engagement, and growth across domestic and international markets.

Wanchoo brings with him over 15 years of deep and diverse experience across fast-moving consumer goods, consumer durables, and global brands. Prior to joining VIP Industries, he served as Chief Marketing Officer at Eureka Forbes Ltd, where he spent more than seven years leading brand, category, and growth marketing initiatives. During his tenure, he played a key role in strengthening brand relevance, driving innovation-led growth, and navigating the organisation through evolving consumer expectations and competitive market dynamics.

Before Eureka Forbes, Wanchoo was Vice President – Marketing at CavinKare, overseeing marketing for personal care, foods, and beverages. In this role, he led multiple high-impact brand portfolios and worked closely with business teams to scale brands across diverse consumer segments. His earlier stint at CavinKare also included serving as General Manager – Marketing (Hair Care), where he was category head for well-known brands such as Chik, Nyle, Meera, and Karthika, building strong equity in highly competitive markets.

Wanchoo’s experience also spans global consumer brands. At Mattel, Inc., he worked as Category Manager – Marketing for Infant and Pre-school products, gaining valuable exposure to international brand management, portfolio strategy, and consumer-centric innovation in a multinational environment.

At VIP Industries, Wanchoo is expected to lead the company’s marketing vision across brand building, product storytelling, digital engagement, and go-to-market strategy. His background in managing large portfolios, revitalising legacy brands, and aligning marketing with business growth positions him well to support VIP’s ambitions in a rapidly evolving lifestyle and travel goods market.

With this appointment, VIP Industries reinforces its commitment to strong marketing leadership as it continues to evolve its brand narrative and deepen its connection with consumers. Wanchoo’s blend of FMCG rigor, consumer insight, and strategic brand thinking is set to play a central role in shaping the company’s next phase of growth.
