CoreEL Technologies Raises $30 Million Series B to Scale Defence Electronics and Aerospace Capabilities

Bengaluru-based defence electronics firm CoreEL Technologies has secured $30 million in a Series B funding round as it looks to expand manufacturing capacity, strengthen research and development, and support large-scale aerospace and defence programmes in India and international markets. The round was led by ValueQuest Scale Fund with participation from 360 ONE Asset, underlining growing investor confidence in CoreEL’s role across critical defence domains such as radar systems, electronic warfare, avionics, and military communications.

The funding marks an important milestone for CoreEL as India accelerates efforts to build indigenous defence and aerospace capabilities under its self-reliance agenda. With defence modernisation and export ambitions gaining momentum, the company aims to scale its operations to meet rising demand from both domestic defence programmes and overseas customers. The capital will also be deployed to deepen CoreEL’s engineering capabilities and accelerate the development of next-generation electronic systems.

“CoreEL has established itself as a world-class electronic systems and product development company,” said Vishwanath Padur, Managing Director of CoreEL Technologies, adding that the funding reflects “strong investor confidence in our long-term strategy, engineering depth and execution capability.” His remarks highlight the company’s focus on combining advanced engineering with execution at scale, a critical requirement in defence and aerospace programmes.

The investment follows CoreEL’s recent acquisition of the aerospace and defence systems division of Lekha Wireless Solutions Pvt. Ltd., a move that significantly enhances its military communications (MILCOM) portfolio. The acquisition strengthens CoreEL’s capabilities in secure and mission-critical communication systems, positioning the company to play a larger role in complex, integrated defence platforms.

Industry observers see the Series B round as a validation of CoreEL’s strategy to build vertically integrated capabilities across design, development, and manufacturing. By expanding its product offerings and consolidating specialised expertise through acquisitions, the company is aligning itself closely with the evolving needs of modern defence forces.

As India continues to push for greater localisation in defence manufacturing while also targeting global markets, CoreEL’s expanded scale and strengthened portfolio are expected to support long-term growth. The latest funding round positions the company to deepen its participation in strategic defence programmes and reinforces its ambition to emerge as a globally competitive player in advanced defence electronics.
