Nishchai brings over 15 years of experience in digital transformation, customer experience, supply chain modernisation, and advanced analytics, with a proven record of delivering complex, large-scale technology programmes across geographies. His appointment comes at a time when STL is increasingly focusing on integrating AI, data-driven decision-making, and automation into its core operations to enhance agility, sustainability, and long-term value creation.
Before joining STL, Nishchai spent nearly eight years at Pidilite Industries, where he played a central role in shaping and executing the company’s enterprise-wide digital strategy. During his tenure, he built and led high-impact digital teams and delivered multiple platforms across sales, manufacturing, analytics, and automation. His work contributed to embedding digital capabilities deeply into business processes and driving measurable operational and customer outcomes.
Earlier in his career, Nishchai held leadership roles across diverse sectors including FMCG, luxury retail, chemicals, and consumer durables. He has successfully led digital and transformation initiatives across more than eight countries, giving him a strong global perspective and a deep understanding of how technology can be scaled across complex, multi-market organisations.
At STL, Nishchai will be responsible for spearheading digital transformation initiatives across the company’s optical fiber and connectivity businesses. His mandate includes leveraging AI, data platforms, automation, and scalable digital architectures to drive operational efficiency, improve customer engagement, and support sustainable growth. Known for building innovation-led digital functions from the ground up, he is also a recognised speaker and advocate of next-generation technologies such as generative AI and advanced analytics.
