HDFC Bank elevates Srajan Tiwari as Senior Vice President to Strengthen Investment Analytics

HDFC Bank Appoints Srajan Tiwari as Senior Vice President to Strengthen Investment Analytics

HDFC Bank Limited has elevated Srajan Tiwari as Senior Vice President, marking a key leadership addition as the bank looks to further strengthen its investment analytics capabilities and regional growth initiatives within the Personal Banking Group. The elevation reflects HDFC Bank’s continued focus on building experienced leadership to support strategic expansion and deliver more data-driven, client-centric financial solutions.

In his new role, Srajan will play a critical part in enhancing the bank’s investment analytics framework, helping align insights with business strategy and customer needs. His responsibilities are expected to span analytics-led decision-making, performance optimisation, and supporting regional growth priorities within personal banking, an area of increasing importance as customer preferences evolve and financial products become more sophisticated.

Srajan brings more than two decades of experience across banking, investment management, and financial analytics. Over the course of his career, he has held senior leadership roles at some of India’s most prominent financial institutions, giving him a broad perspective on both traditional banking and modern investment ecosystems. His professional background spans mutual funds, asset management, and business banking across domestic and international markets.

Prior to joining HDFC Bank, Srajan worked with BankBazaar India, where he was involved in driving analytics-led initiatives in the digital financial services space. He also held leadership roles at Canara Robeco Mutual Fund and Reliance Capital, part of the Reliance Group, where he contributed to investment strategy, fund management support, and analytics for large-scale financial operations. Earlier in his career, he spent several years at ICICI Bank, gaining hands-on experience across business banking and investment-related functions.

This diverse experience equips Srajan with a strong understanding of customer behaviour, market dynamics, and data-driven decision-making—capabilities that are increasingly central to the personal banking segment. His appointment comes at a time when banks are leveraging advanced analytics to personalise offerings, improve risk assessment, and enhance customer engagement.

By bringing Srajan Tiwari on board as Senior Vice President, HDFC Bank reinforces its commitment to strengthening analytical leadership and building long-term growth capabilities. His expertise is expected to support the bank’s efforts to deepen customer relationships, drive regional expansion, and maintain its leadership position in India’s competitive banking landscape.
