
German automation giant Lenze has announced the elevation of Partha Hor to the position of Managing Director for its India operations, marking a significant leadership milestone for the company. Lenze, a global leader in Motion Control, Automation Systems, and Drive Solutions, has entrusted Hor with the mandate to drive business growth, operational excellence, and strategic initiatives across the subcontinent, aligning regional operations with the company’s global vision.
Partha Hor has been a part of Lenze for over eight years and most recently served as Vice President – Finance for India and South-East Asia, where he led finance and human resources functions across the region. In this role, he was instrumental in strategizing and financing growth initiatives, managing risk, localizing products, and enhancing business process efficiency.
Known for his unique “entrepreneurial-controller” mindset, Hor now steps into a broader leadership role focused on scaling Lenze’s operations, strengthening market presence, and driving strategic initiatives to support the industrial automation revolution in India.
Partha’s career spans decades of leadership in finance and operations across global multinational corporations.
He began his journey with foundational roles at Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) and Bajaj Auto Ltd, before advancing to the luxury automotive sector with Mercedes-Benz India. His expertise further expanded through controller and management positions at Crane Co., Wirtgen India, and as a Partner at Mexs Consulting. Prior to joining Lenze, he held key leadership positions at ATS Automation and served as a Director on the board of Gefran India.
With this extensive experience, Partha brings deep expertise in finance leadership, operational excellence, and scale-up journeys. His appointment positions Lenze India to continue its growth trajectory and further consolidate its leadership in the industrial automation sector.
