Cyient Appoints Rajkumar R. as Chief Growth Officer to Drive Global Expansion

Cyient has appointed Rajkumar R. as its Chief Growth Officer, adding a seasoned global leader to its executive team as the company advances its growth agenda across strategic initiatives, technology-led transformation, and international markets.

Rajkumar brings more than 25 years of experience in building and scaling AI, digital, and engineering services businesses across EMEA, APAC, and the Americas. His background spans enterprise leadership, market expansion, and the development of large-scale, technology-driven offerings, aligning closely with Cyient’s Intelligent Engineering focus.

Before joining Cyient, Rajkumar Ravindranathan served as Chief Business Officer – EMEA & APAC at L&T Technology Services. In that role, he was responsible for regional strategy, business growth, and P&L management across non-US geographies. He also served as a Board Member at L&T Thales Technology Services, contributing to governance and strategic direction.

Earlier in his career, Rajkumar spent over two decades at Cognizant, where he held multiple senior leadership positions. Most notably, he served as Head of ROW (EMEA, APAC, and LATAM) for Digital, Industry 4.0, IoT, and Engineering Services. His responsibilities included go-to-market strategy, global delivery, partnerships, and mergers and acquisitions, giving him broad exposure to scaling complex, multi-region businesses.

Rajkumar’s appointment comes as Cyient reports three consecutive quarters of positive momentum, marking a period of increased focus on execution discipline and scalable growth. In his new role, he will be responsible for sharpening Cyient’s market positioning across priority industries and geographies, deepening strategic customer relationships, and improving pipeline quality.

He will also work on strengthening go-to-market execution by bringing greater consistency across prioritisation, pursuit, and conversion, with the aim of translating momentum into sustained business performance. Additionally, the role includes building and expanding strategic partnerships to support Cyient’s global reach.

Internally, his mandate is expected to bring clearer priorities, tighter cross-functional alignment, and faster decision-making, enabling teams to move offerings to market with greater speed and confidence.

The leadership change reflects Cyient’s intent to navigate a rapidly evolving market environment while reinforcing its focus on long-term, technology-led business transformation.
