GI Outsourcing has expanded its India operations with the launch of a new AI-first Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Hyderabad. The centre is located at the International Tech Park and marks a strategic addition to the company’s delivery network in the country.
The accounts outsourcing and knowledge process management firm established the Hyderabad GCC in collaboration with Enablr, a Covasant company. The move builds on GI Outsourcing’s existing presence in Mumbai, Delhi, and Ahmedabad, with the new facility positioned as a key delivery hub within its India operations.
Commenting on the expansion, GI Outsourcing Group CEO Tariq Husain said:
“India has been central to our long-term operating model. Our strategic expansion into Hyderabad is about accessing a rich ecosystem of innovation and financial expertise.
“Enablr’s expertise helped us to bypass the usual teething problems of global expansion. They helped us move from planning to a fully operational centre in Hyderabad without unnecessary delays or operational risk.”
According to the company, the Hyderabad centre will leverage the city’s strong pool of finance and accounting professionals to support its international client base. The unit has commenced operations with a team of 50 professionals, with plans to scale the workforce to 100 over the next 12 months.
CV Subramanyam, chairman and managing director of Covasant and Enablr, said:
“Enterprise leaders today are looking for speed-to-market without compromising on quality or compliance.
“We partnered with GI Outsourcing in this transition, helping them set up their AI-first GCC, empowering them to do what they do best: provide world-class financial solutions to their global clients.”
The launch reflects the growing role of Hyderabad as a destination for global capability centres, particularly in finance, accounting, and technology-led services, as companies look to combine operational scale with access to specialised talent.
