Treebo Hospitality Ventures has elevated Shashwat Sharma to the role of Chief Business Officer – North & East, entrusting him with the strategic leadership of the company’s most significant regional clusters. In his new executive capacity, Sharma will oversee the complete P&L mandate, expansion strategy, and operational performance across Northern and Eastern India.
The role places him at the forefront of scaling Treebo’s regional footprint, deepening partner relationships, and driving revenue optimisation across diverse and competitive hospitality markets. His elevation follows a nearly five-year tenure at Treebo, during which he held key leadership positions including Executive Vice President and Senior Director, consistently contributing to growth acceleration and operational efficiency.
Since joining Treebo in July 2021 as Senior Director, Sharma steadily expanded his responsibilities. He was promoted to Executive Vice President in January 2023, a role he held until February 2026, before stepping into his current position as Chief Business Officer in January 2026. Throughout this period, he played a central role in strengthening regional operations and driving performance-led execution.
Prior to his journey at Treebo, Sharma built a strong track record in scaling businesses and managing large distribution networks. At Livspace, he spent over four years in leadership roles, culminating in his position as General Manager, where he led the Noida business unit from April 2019 to July 2021. Earlier, he served as Associate General Manager and Community Business Manager, contributing to market expansion across the Greater Delhi area.
His entrepreneurial experience includes co-founding Cafe Indica Interior Technologies Pvt Ltd in August 2015, where he served as Business Head until January 2017. In that role, he oversaw business development and operations, closely managing the P&L across B2B, B2C, and e-commerce verticals while expanding the company’s presence across three major cities.
Sharma’s professional foundation was shaped by his tenure at Bharti Airtel, where he earned recognition through the CEO Appreciation Award and the Achievers’ Club Award, and at LG Electronics, where he ranked among the top 10 performing Area Managers in India.
By combining entrepreneurial agility with deep expertise in sales strategy, channel management, and distribution-led growth, Sharma now leads Treebo’s regional mandate at a time when the hospitality sector is witnessing renewed expansion across tiered markets. His elevation signals the company’s continued focus on strengthening regional leadership while scaling its operational and revenue engine in key growth territories.
