
Pavanjit S Bedi has been elevated to Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) – Foods, HUL at Unilever. In this expanded leadership role, he will steer the marketing agenda for the Foods portfolio at Hindustan Unilever Limited, focusing on accelerating product innovation, advancing digital transformation, and strengthening brand equity across one of India’s largest FMCG businesses.
Bedi brings over two decades of experience within the Unilever ecosystem. Before this elevation, he served as Global Brand Vice President, where he oversaw strategic brand initiatives at a global scale. Over the course of his 22-year career with the organization, he has held several prominent leadership positions, including Global Brand Director – Pond’s, Global Brand Director – Glow & Lovely, and Global Brand Director – Lifebuoy.
In these roles, he led large innovation pipelines, major rebranding exercises, purpose-driven brand platforms, and digital commerce transformations across diverse markets spanning South Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America. His earlier assignments across brands such as Dove and Pears, along with regional sales leadership responsibilities, helped shape his expertise in integrated brand building, global portfolio strategy, and market expansion.
His elevation to CMO – Foods marks a strategic move for Hindustan Unilever as it sharpens its focus on growth, consumer-centric innovation, and digital-first brand development within the highly competitive foods segment.
