
Microsoft has appointed Aman Malhotra as Security Solution Engineering Leader for India and South Asia, reinforcing the company’s cybersecurity leadership across the region.
In his new role, Malhotra will lead Microsoft’s security solution engineering initiatives across India and South Asia, supporting enterprises in strengthening cyber resilience while driving adoption of the company’s security and AI-powered protection platforms.
Prior to this position, Malhotra served as Global Black Belt – Secure AI & Agent365 at Microsoft, where he focused on securing AI systems and expanding the company’s SecureAI initiatives across global markets. He had earlier held the role of Global Black Belt – Security, supporting Microsoft’s end-to-end security portfolio and driving the integration of AI capabilities into cybersecurity solutions.
Before joining Microsoft, Malhotra held leadership roles at UST, where he led the Security MDR practice and managed global security architect teams delivering SIEM, XDR and managed detection and response solutions across Asia, Europe and the United States.
He also worked in senior cybersecurity roles at TÜV SÜD, focusing on global security practices and cybersecurity presales across the APAC region.
Earlier in his career, Malhotra held positions at organisations including TresVista, Capgemini, IBM and Infosys. He began his professional journey as a Network Engineer at Punjab National Bank.
With nearly two decades of experience across cybersecurity, cloud security, AI security and enterprise risk management, Malhotra’s appointment reflects Microsoft’s continued focus on strengthening security leadership in high-growth markets across India and South Asia.
