Bharat Bhatia has been appointed as Associate Director at Protiviti India Member Firm, effective March 2026. Based in Gurugram, he will lead the cybersecurity and risk advisory mandate, with a focus on enhancing organizational resilience through advanced security audits, cloud security strategies, and robust cyber-governance frameworks for global enterprise clients.
In his new role, Bhatia will work closely with organizations to strengthen their security posture, address evolving cyber threats, and implement scalable governance models aligned with global standards. His responsibilities include driving strategic advisory initiatives across cloud environments and enterprise risk ecosystems.
Prior to joining Protiviti, Bhatia spent several years at Deloitte, where he built a strong track record in cybersecurity and risk consulting. Most recently, he served as Manager from May 2023 to March 2026, following his role as Deputy Manager between October 2021 and May 2023. During his tenure, he led multiple engagements in security audits, Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments, and enterprise cybersecurity programs.
He also had a brief stint at EY as a Senior Consultant in 2021, where he further strengthened his expertise in security audits and cybersecurity advisory.
Bhatia began his career in the cybersecurity domain with Bytecode Cyber Security, where he worked as an Information Security Consultant, gaining early exposure to core security practices and threat management.
With over 12 years of experience in information security, Bhatia brings deep expertise in cloud security, security audits, and cyber risk management. His professional skill set includes strong knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cybersecurity training frameworks such as Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).
His appointment reflects Protiviti India’s continued focus on expanding its cybersecurity and risk advisory capabilities, as organizations increasingly prioritize resilient and secure digital infrastructures in a rapidly evolving threat landscape.
