
Omkar Singh has been appointed as Head – Manufacturing HR at Reliance Consumer Products Limited. In this role, he will be responsible for strengthening the company’s people strategy and HR frameworks across its manufacturing operations, with a focus on workforce development, industrial relations, and operational efficiency.
Based in Pune, Singh will play a key role in aligning HR practices with business objectives, particularly across plant operations and large-scale workforce environments. His mandate includes enhancing employee engagement, ensuring labour law compliance, and driving strategic people management initiatives within the manufacturing ecosystem.
Singh brings extensive experience as a strategic and result-driven HR leader, with strong expertise in plant HR, industrial relations, and workforce planning within the manufacturing and FMCG sectors.
Prior to joining Reliance Consumer Products, he was associated with Fenesta Windows as Human Resources Business Partner II (IR & ER), where he led initiatives in workforce planning, employee relations, and compliance management. During his tenure, he focused on optimizing workforce structures and strengthening industrial relations frameworks.
Earlier, he spent over nine years at Hero MotoCorp Ltd as HR Manager, managing end-to-end HR functions for frontline to senior-level employees. His responsibilities included recruitment, talent management, organizational development, employee engagement, HR operations, and HRIS, contributing to a robust and scalable HR ecosystem.
He also held roles at Asahi India Glass Limited (AIS) as Section Head and at Rockman Industries as a Human Resources Executive, where he built a strong foundation in industrial relations, labour law compliance, and manufacturing HR practices.
With a career spanning over a decade in HR leadership, Singh brings a deep understanding of manufacturing operations and workforce dynamics. His appointment underscores Reliance Consumer Products Limited’s focus on building strong HR capabilities to support its expanding manufacturing footprint and long-term growth strategy.
