Autonomous driving technology company QCraft has raised $100 million in its Series D funding round, underscoring growing investor confidence in the future of self-driving and physical AI technologies. The round was backed by a mix of strategic and financial investors, including major players from the automotive and supply chain ecosystem, reflecting strong industry alignment with QCraft’s long-term vision.
Founded in 2019, QCraft focuses on building full-stack autonomous driving solutions capable of operating in complex real-world urban environments. The company is now shifting its strategic direction toward higher levels of autonomy, particularly Level 4 (L4), while also exploring broader applications of “physical AI”—a concept that combines artificial intelligence with real-world systems such as vehicles and robotics.
The fresh capital will be utilized to strengthen research in advanced technologies, including reinforcement learning and world models, while also supporting talent expansion and product development. CEO Yu Qian emphasized that autonomous driving represents a key entry point into physical AI, highlighting that the next phase of innovation will be driven by real-world deployment rather than purely digital advancements.
QCraft has already made significant progress in commercialization, with its driver-assistance systems deployed in over one million vehicles and partnerships established with nearly 10 automakers across around 30 models. The company’s technology enables advanced features such as urban navigation on autopilot, while maintaining relatively lower hardware costs, making it attractive for large-scale adoption.
Looking ahead, QCraft plans to expand its presence across more vehicle models, targeting over 50 partnerships by 2026, many of which will include advanced autonomous driving capabilities. In addition to passenger vehicles, the company is also scaling its footprint in autonomous logistics through driverless delivery solutions and is preparing to begin limited robotaxi trials in 2026, with a broader rollout expected in the following years.
As competition intensifies in the global autonomous driving market, QCraft’s latest funding highlights a continued shift toward scalable, commercially viable solutions that bridge artificial intelligence with real-world mobility applications.
