Nagendra P Bandaru has been elevated to the role of CEO – AI Native Business and Platforms Unit at Wipro, marking a significant step in his leadership journey within the organization. In this position, he will lead Wipro’s AI-first strategy, focusing on scaling AI-native capabilities, advancing platform-led innovation, and accelerating enterprise adoption of intelligent and autonomous solutions across global markets.
Bandaru brings over three decades of global experience, including nearly 12 years at Wipro, where he has held several senior leadership roles. Most recently, he served as President – Technology Services and Member of the Executive Board, where he led the global technology services business, spanning enterprise applications, cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, digital operations, and AI-driven services.
Prior to that, he served as President and Executive Board Member for enterprise-focused business lines, overseeing areas such as platforms, data and analytics, artificial intelligence, design, cybersecurity, and digital operations. He also led key verticals including digital operations, cloud, infrastructure, and cybersecurity, managing large-scale global teams and driving business growth across multiple markets.
Earlier in his tenure, Bandaru was Senior Vice President and Global Head of Digital Operations and Platforms, where he managed a multi-billion-dollar business unit with a workforce spread across more than 30 countries, playing a crucial role in scaling Wipro’s global delivery capabilities.
Before joining Wipro, he held leadership roles at Tata Consultancy Services, where he built strong expertise across financial services and telecom sectors, further strengthening his foundation in enterprise technology and global business operations.
With extensive experience in driving digital transformation, scaling global businesses, and leading large technology portfolios, Nagendra P Bandaru’s elevation reflects Wipro’s strategic focus on accelerating AI-led growth and strengthening its position in next-generation technology services.
