Vidya Ramesh has been appointed as Senior Vice President at Marsh Risk, effective April 2026. In this role, she will lead strategic risk advisory and insurance solutions for high-value corporate clients, strengthening the firm’s capabilities in delivering tailored risk mitigation strategies.
Her elevation follows a nearly nine-year tenure within the Marsh McLennan group, where she most recently served as Executive Vice President. During this time, she played a key role in driving growth across multinational client servicing and corporate segments, managing complex client portfolios and delivering consistent business outcomes.
With over two decades of experience in the insurance and financial services sector, Vidya brings deep domain expertise in risk management and client engagement. She holds the Associate qualification from the Insurance Institute of India (AIII), reflecting her strong technical grounding in the field.
Prior to her tenure at Marsh McLennan, she held leadership roles at Bharti AXA General Insurance, where she led regional sales and contributed to institutional business growth across key markets.
Earlier in her career, she gained experience in banking and financial services with organizations such as HDFC Bank and Karvy, building a strong foundation in client management, investor relations, and financial products.
With extensive experience in handling multinational clients and complex risk environments, Vidya Ramesh is well-positioned to strengthen Marsh Risk’s advisory capabilities. Her appointment reflects the firm’s continued focus on enhancing its leadership team to deliver sophisticated, client-centric risk solutions in a rapidly evolving business landscape.
