Mumbai, April 2026: LEAD Group, India’s leading school learning systems company, today announced the launch of Ms Curie, an AI-powered tutor designed to enable 1:1 personalised learning in classrooms. The company also introduced Fluento, a spoken English programme built on this personalised AI tutor to improve real-world communication skills among students.
Ms. Curie works with students and then guides them back to their teachers and real-world peers. Trained extensively on working with K-8 students, it comes equipped with strong ethical safeguards to ensure responsible use. It interacts with each student, adapts to their level in real time, and gives instant feedback, teachers focus on instruction and guidance. This can work with most Indian accents and has very low latency. The LEAD engineering team has spent the last year iterating the human interaction element of Ms. Curie so that it can perform as an effective tutor.
Fluento, built on the Ms. Curie platform, focuses on improving spoken English skills by enabling regular, guided conversational practice within classrooms. Across India, while English is widely taught as a subject, many students lack opportunities to practise speaking confidently. Ms Curie’s Fluento addresses this gap by combining a structured curriculum with AI-led conversation practice, helping students build fluency and confidence over time.

LEAD group conducted pilots across ~1,000 students in 10 schools in Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Delhi which showed strong results, with students demonstrating approximately 2x improvement in conversational ability and public speaking skills, based on structured pre- and post-assessments. The launch marks a significant step in LEAD Group’s vision to use AI to enable personalised learning at scale across classrooms.
