Santhosh Viswanathan has been elevated to Vice President and Managing Director for Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) at Intel. In this expanded leadership role, he will oversee business growth, customer engagement, and strategic expansion across one of Intel’s most dynamic global regions.
A seasoned leader with over 22 years at Intel, Viswanathan has held multiple leadership positions across geographies and business units. Most recently, he served as Vice President and Managing Director for Intel India, where he played a key role in accelerating market growth and strengthening the company’s presence in the region.
Over the course of his career, he has led APJ operations, managed multi-billion-dollar business portfolios, and driven large-scale sales and marketing transformations. His experience includes roles such as Managing Director for APJ Territory, Managing Director for Intel Indonesia, and leadership positions in global sales operations and regional strategy.
Earlier in his career, he worked with Wipro, building foundational experience in technology and business operations.
His elevation reflects Intel’s continued focus on strengthening leadership across key growth markets, with APJ representing a critical region for innovation, partnerships, and large-scale adoption of advanced computing and AI technologies.
