Accel leads $60 million funding round for Israeli ecommerce AI startup ZyG

Israeli ecommerce AI startup ZyG has raised $60 million in a Series A funding round led by Accel, signaling strong investor confidence in AI-driven commerce platforms. The round alfrom investors including Felix Capital, Bessemer Venture Partners, and Lightspeed Venture Partners, bringing ZyG’s total funding to approximately $118 million.

ZyG is focused on building what it dso saw participation escribes as an “agentic operating system” for ecommerce, aimed at helping direct-to-consumer brands scale more efficiently. Its platform, known as ZyG OS, uses AI agents to manage end-to-end operations—from identifying high-potential products to executing marketing, customer acquisition, and logistics functions.

The company was founded by former executives of ironSource along with AI experts from elite Israeli cyber units, combining deep expertise in both technology and digital commerce. This strong founding team has been a key factor in attracting investor interest, especially as the startup positions itself at the intersection of AI automation and ecommerce growth.

ZyG’s platform is designed to address a major challenge in ecommerce—scaling beyond initial traction. While platforms like Shopify and Amazon have made it easier to start selling online, scaling operations remains complex due to fragmented tools, data silos, and reliance on multiple service providers. ZyG aims to simplify this process by offering a unified, AI-driven system that automates growth workflows.

The funding will be used to accelerate product development and expand ZyG’s market presence, particularly in helping brands scale in key markets like the United States. The deal highlights a broader trend of increasing investment in “agentic AI” solutions, where autonomous systems are designed to handle complex business functions, positioning ZyG as a potential key player in the future of AI-powered ecommerce.
