
Shalina Healthcare has appointed Saurabh Bajaj as Global Chief Marketing Officer for its Consumer Products division, strengthening the company’s leadership team as it focuses on expanding its consumer healthcare presence across international markets.
Saurabh brings more than 22 years of experience spanning business development, sales, marketing, innovation, and brand strategy across the telecom, FMCG, and consumer products sectors. In his new role, he is expected to lead strategic marketing initiatives aimed at strengthening Shalina Healthcare’s consumer product portfolio while supporting global brand expansion and market growth.
Before joining Shalina Healthcare, Saurabh was associated with Vodafone Idea Limited, where he played a key role in leading product marketing for the company’s prepaid business portfolio, valued at over ₹30,000 crore. He also served as Executive Vice President – Marketing, Prepaid Product, contributing to business growth, customer engagement strategies, and product positioning within the highly competitive telecom sector.
Prior to his tenure at Vodafone Idea, Saurabh held leadership positions across several leading consumer and FMCG organizations. At Britannia Industries Limited, he served as Marketing Head – Dairy, where he focused on category growth, brand development, and strengthening the company’s dairy portfolio. He also worked with DIAGEO India as Innovation Head – Premium & Luxury, leading initiatives related to product innovation, category expansion, and premium brand strategy.
His professional experience additionally includes a stint at Mondelez International, where he further developed expertise in consumer marketing, brand management, and strategic business development across global markets. Over the course of his career, Saurabh has built strong capabilities in driving growth-focused marketing strategies and managing large consumer portfolios across diverse industries.
The appointment comes at a time when consumer healthcare companies are increasingly focusing on brand-led growth, innovation, and market expansion to strengthen their position in global markets. With experience across both telecom and FMCG industries, Saurabh’s background is expected to support Shalina Healthcare’s efforts to accelerate growth and expand its consumer-focused business operations.
