
Pallav Bagla has joined CleverTap as Vice President – Strategy & GTM Operations, taking on a key leadership role focused on strengthening the company’s strategic growth, revenue operations, and go-to-market execution. Based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, Pallav will lead initiatives aimed at optimizing business performance, scaling global revenue channels, and accelerating enterprise expansion for the company’s retention cloud platform.
With over 14 years of experience across corporate strategy, SaaS growth, revenue operations, and business transformation, Pallav brings a strong background in driving operational efficiency and market expansion across high-growth technology ecosystems. His appointment reflects CleverTap’s continued focus on scaling enterprise adoption and strengthening its position within the global customer engagement and retention technology market.
Prior to joining CleverTap, Pallav spent nearly six years at BetterPlace, where he played a significant role in shaping the company’s strategic growth trajectory. Most recently serving as Vice President – goBetter, he led profitability and expansion initiatives for the organization’s software business across India, Southeast Asia, and the GCC region.
During his tenure, he contributed to achieving nearly threefold topline growth, reducing operational burn significantly over multiple quarters, and supporting strategic preparations linked to the company’s anticipated IPO roadmap. His leadership in scaling SaaS operations, streamlining revenue processes, and improving financial efficiency strengthened BetterPlace’s business positioning across multiple international markets.
Before entering the SaaS sector, Pallav spent close to eight years at PwC, where he advanced to the role of Manager. During this period, he worked on large-scale corporate advisory assignments, public-private partnership structures, infrastructure-linked financial models, and strategic asset allocation projects.
Over the years, Pallav has developed expertise in capacity planning, data-driven revenue operations, business scaling, and cross-border expansion strategy. His experience spans enterprise SaaS, consulting, strategic operations, and corporate growth planning, making him a recognized leader within India’s evolving technology and digital business ecosystem.
His appointment comes as SaaS companies increasingly prioritize operational efficiency, scalable GTM frameworks, and enterprise-focused growth strategies amid intensifying competition in global software markets.
