
Levi Strauss & Co. has appointed Vijay Nair to lead its India Global Talent Hub and Global Capability Center (GCC), reinforcing the company’s focus on expanding capabilities, strengthening operations, and supporting global business functions from India.
In his new role as VP & Site Leader, Levi’s Global Talent Hub / GCC, based in Bengaluru, Nair will oversee initiatives aimed at scaling operational capabilities and driving collaboration across the organization’s global teams. The appointment reflects the increasing importance of India-based global capability centres in supporting enterprise operations, technology, talent management, and business transformation for multinational companies.
Sharing his thoughts on the new role, Nair said, “I look forward to collaborating with an incredible team as we continue to scale capabilities, strengthen operations, and deliver impact across the global organization.”
He also expressed gratitude to colleagues, mentors, and leadership teams for their continued support and trust throughout his professional journey.
Prior to this role, Nair served as Vice President MPIM (South Asia MEA & Global Talent Hub) at Levi Strauss & Co. During his tenure, he played a key role in strengthening regional operations and supporting the company’s talent and business initiatives across South Asia and the Middle East & Africa regions.
The leadership transition comes as global companies continue expanding their India GCC operations to support digital transformation, operational excellence, shared services, analytics, and enterprise innovation initiatives. Bengaluru remains one of the leading hubs for multinational capability centres, talent operations, and global business support functions.
