
Siemens has appointed Vikram Anbazhagan as Vice President of Product, AI, strengthening the company’s artificial intelligence leadership as it continues to expand its AI-driven innovation and digital transformation initiatives across global markets.
In his new role, Vikram will lead AI product strategy, innovation, and development efforts focused on advancing Siemens’ AI-powered technologies and enterprise transformation capabilities. His appointment reflects the growing importance of generative AI, machine learning, and intelligent automation across industrial technology, infrastructure, mobility, and enterprise platforms.
Prior to joining Siemens, Vikram served as Partner/Senior Director at Microsoft Security, where he led the ecosystem and marketplace initiatives for Security Copilot. During his tenure, he played a key role in building a security marketplace that enabled customers to discover, purchase, and deploy security agents rapidly across enterprise environments. He also helped develop an agent-based software development lifecycle designed to accelerate product deployment and streamline feature delivery.
Before Microsoft, Vikram spent more than eight years at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he led the launch and expansion of multiple AI and language intelligence services. His leadership portfolio included AI products such as Amazon Q, Amazon Lex, Amazon Comprehend, Amazon Transcribe, Amazon Translate, and Amazon Kendra. He contributed significantly to the growth of AWS’s AI ecosystem by helping enterprises adopt conversational AI, natural language processing, speech recognition, search intelligence, and generative AI capabilities at scale.
Earlier in his career, he held several product leadership positions at Amazon, where he worked across Kindle and lending businesses, driving product growth, customer engagement, and platform innovation initiatives.
With extensive expertise in artificial intelligence, enterprise AI platforms, generative AI technologies, machine learning, cloud ecosystems, and product management, Vikram brings deep industry experience to Siemens as the company continues to accelerate AI adoption across industrial and enterprise applications.
