
TI Automotive has appointed Rangarajan Narasimhan as Vice President, IT – Asia and Head of Global Competency Centre, strengthening the company’s technology leadership as automotive manufacturers continue accelerating digital transformation and enterprise modernization initiatives.
In his new role, Rangarajan Narasimhan will lead IT strategy across Asia while overseeing the company’s Global Competency Centre operations, focusing on enterprise technology transformation, automation, digital platforms, and global IT delivery capabilities.
He brings more than two decades of experience spanning IT leadership, ERP transformation, automation, enterprise applications, global delivery, and digital business transformation across manufacturing, automotive, consulting, and enterprise technology sectors.
Prior to joining TI Automotive, Narasimhan spent more than five years at Vertiv, where he held multiple senior leadership positions including Chief Information Officer – ASI, Global Hub Leader – Pune, Global Automation Head, Vice President Information Technology – ASI & Global Automation, and Head of Information Technology – ASI and Global Automation.
During his tenure at Vertiv, he led enterprise IT modernization initiatives, automation programs, regional technology strategy, and digital transformation efforts across Asia while supporting global technology operations and automation capabilities.
Earlier in his career, he served as Senior Director at Virtusa, leading global delivery operations for the life sciences and providers business segment.
He also worked at Adient as Lead – APAC IT Operations, where he managed regional IT operations and ERP implementation programs across Asia.
Before that, Narasimhan spent over 11 years at Tata Consultancy Services in multiple leadership roles including Head – APAC Presales, Niche Growth Platforms, Enterprise Solutions, and Business Relationship Manager.
His experience spans enterprise technology strategy, IT operations, business transformation, client management, ERP ecosystems, global delivery, and automation-led operational modernization.
The appointment comes as automotive manufacturers and suppliers continue increasing investments in connected manufacturing, enterprise automation, AI-driven operations, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, ERP modernization, and digital engineering platforms to improve operational efficiency and support next-generation mobility ecosystems.
TI Automotive, formed through ABC Technologies’ acquisition of TI Fluid Systems in 2025, supplies fluid management systems and lightweight engineered components to global automotive manufacturers. The company operates across multiple international markets supporting automotive OEMs with safety-critical and performance-focused technologies.
