IBM Elevates Tuhina Pandey to Lead Marketing Across Asia Pacific

IBM has appointed Tuhina Pandey as Vice President, Marketing, Asia Pacific, expanding her leadership responsibilities across one of the company’s fastest-growing regions. In her new role, Pandey will lead IBM’s marketing strategy and execution across Asia Pacific while continuing to drive brand growth and customer engagement initiatives.

Pandey has been associated with IBM since 2020, when she joined as Head of Communications for India and South Asia. Over the years, she has taken on broader responsibilities, including leading communications and marketing functions across the region. Most recently, she served as Director – APAC Communications & Marketing, India and South Asia, where she oversaw integrated marketing, communications, brand reputation, and go-to-market initiatives.

Prior to joining IBM, Pandey headed Global Corporate Communications and Public Affairs at Tech Mahindra. She also has a background in journalism, having worked as a business journalist and technology editor with NDTV. Her career spans marketing, communications, digital strategy, corporate affairs, and media.

Announcing her new role on LinkedIn, Pandey said: “I’m excited to share that I’ve stepped into a new role as Vice President, Marketing for IBM Asia Pacific.”

Reflecting on the transition, she added: “This journey has been powered by incredible teams, mentors, clients, partners, and friends who have challenged, inspired, and supported me every step of the way. I’m grateful for the trust placed in me and excited about the opportunity to help shape IBM’s next chapter across Asia Pacific.”

Pandey’s appointment comes as IBM continues to strengthen its marketing leadership across the Asia Pacific region to support business growth, deepen customer engagement, and accelerate digital transformation initiatives. Her expanded role is expected to play a key part in advancing IBM’s brand and go-to-market strategy across diverse markets in the region.
