Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has announced the appointment of Poly Singh Arora as its Chief People Officer (CPO), reinforcing the company’s focus on building a strong people-centric organisation as it continues to expand its renewable energy business. With more than 23 years of experience in human resources and organisational leadership, Arora will be responsible for shaping the company’s workforce strategy and strengthening its leadership capabilities.
In her new position, she will oversee key human resource functions, including talent acquisition, leadership development, employee engagement, organisational transformation, and workforce planning. Her mandate also includes fostering a high-performance work culture while ensuring that people initiatives support AGEL’s long-term growth strategy and sustainability goals.
Before joining Adani Green Energy, Arora served as Head of Human Resources at Mumbai International Airport Limited (CSMIA), where she worked closely with senior leadership to implement HR transformation programmes and enhance organisational capability. Prior to that, she spent nearly six years with VFS Global as Regional HR Head – South Asia, leading human resource strategy across multiple countries and managing initiatives aimed at strengthening talent and organisational effectiveness.
