KPMG India Elevates Nimish Saxena to Director in Government Consulting Practice

KPMG India has elevated Nimish Saxena to the position of Director, recognizing his contributions to the firm’s Government Consulting practice. In his new role, Saxena will continue working with government institutions on policy formulation, public sector transformation, digital governance, business strategy, and large-scale consulting initiatives aimed at improving governance and supporting economic development.

The appointment marks another milestone in Saxena’s nearly eight-year journey with KPMG India. During his tenure, he has taken on roles of increasing responsibility, progressing from Assistant Manager to Manager, then Associate Director, before being elevated to Director. His experience spans advisory engagements focused on helping public sector organizations strengthen operational efficiency, adopt digital technologies, and implement strategic reforms.

As Director, Saxena is expected to continue supporting government departments and public institutions on initiatives related to governance modernization, policy advisory, and digital transformation. His work has involved collaborating with stakeholders on projects designed to enhance administrative effectiveness and improve service delivery through technology-enabled solutions.

Before joining KPMG India, Saxena worked at EY as Senior Project Consultant – Government Transaction Advisory Services. In that role, he was involved in government advisory assignments covering business process reengineering, IT consulting, digital transformation, and transaction advisory services. His experience included supporting public sector organizations in implementing strategic initiatives and technology-led reforms.

Earlier in his career, Saxena was associated with Jeevom Healthcare Simplified, where he gained exposure to product management and business strategy. He also worked with Aditac Solutions & Services, further strengthening his expertise in consulting and strategic planning. These roles helped build a foundation across public sector consulting, technology adoption, and business transformation.

Over the years, Saxena has developed experience in advising government organizations on policy implementation, institutional transformation, and digital governance initiatives. His work has focused on enabling public institutions to improve operational processes, strengthen decision-making frameworks, and adopt technology-driven approaches to governance.

His elevation to Director reflects KPMG India’s continued emphasis on strengthening leadership within its Government Consulting practice as demand grows for advisory services related to digital governance, public administration, and large-scale transformation programmes. With experience spanning consulting, strategy, and technology-led reforms, Saxena will continue to support government institutions in executing initiatives aimed at enhancing administrative efficiency and delivering long-term public value.
