Sovereign cloud and artificial intelligence platform Coredge.io has appointed enterprise technology leader Sourav Kumar Jena as its Chief Executive Officer. Jena has also been named CEO of Coredge’s parent company, Sirius Digitech Limited, with both appointments taking effect immediately.
In his new role, Jena will lead Coredge’s overall business strategy, product innovation and expansion across India, the UAE and other priority international markets. He will also oversee the commercial rollout of the company’s next-generation sovereign cloud and AI portfolio, including its Dflare AI platform.
The leadership appointment strengthens Coredge’s focus on building locally governed cloud and AI infrastructure for enterprises, governments and regulated organisations. Its technology strategy centres on enabling customers to adopt artificial intelligence while retaining control over data residency, security, infrastructure and regulatory compliance.
Jena brings more than 14 years of experience across cloud computing, enterprise technology, artificial intelligence, strategic partnerships and go-to-market operations. He has previously held leadership positions at Amazon Web Services, Microsoft, Kore.ai and Ericsson, where he worked on scaling technology platforms and building partnerships for enterprise and government customers across global markets.
His experience across hyperscale cloud platforms and enterprise AI is expected to support Coredge as it competes in a market where organisations are increasingly evaluating alternatives to hyperscaler-dependent infrastructure. The company’s sovereign-cloud model is designed to allow customers to operate AI and cloud workloads across on-premises, private-cloud, hybrid and edge environments without relinquishing ownership of their data.
Arif Khan, Founder of Coredge and CEO of Infinia Technologies, said the appointment is intended to accelerate the platform and market presence already established by the company. He highlighted Jena’s experience in scaling enterprise technology platforms as an important capability for Coredge’s next phase of growth, particularly in India.
Jena said enterprises require cloud platforms that combine security, trust and local governance without limiting innovation. His mandate will involve working with customers, technology partners and internal teams to strengthen Coredge’s capabilities and deliver scalable digital platforms.
From a technology perspective, the appointment comes as sovereign AI infrastructure becomes increasingly important for government agencies and industries handling sensitive or regulated data. Coredge’s portfolio combines GPU infrastructure, AI lifecycle management, Kubernetes orchestration, virtualisation, multi-cloud management and edge-computing capabilities to support enterprise AI deployment.
Coredge.io is a Noida-headquartered sovereign cloud and AI infrastructure company backed by Sirius Digitech Limited, a joint venture involving the Adani Group and Infinia Technologies. The company enables enterprises and governments to build and manage AI-ready infrastructure with control over data location, security and governance. Its product portfolio includes Dflare AI, Cirrus Cloud Platform, Coredge Kubernetes Platform, Cloud Orbiter and Coredge Virtualization Manager, serving sectors such as government, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, telecom and enterprise technology.
