Excitel Broadband Appoints Aditya Jain as Chief Marketing Officer

New Delhi: Excitel Broadband has appointed Aditya Jain as its Chief Marketing Officer, marking his return to the home internet service provider after previously leading its marketing function.

Excitel confirmed the appointment through an official announcement, welcoming Jain back to the company as its CMO. In his new role, he will lead Excitel’s marketing strategy as the broadband provider seeks to strengthen its brand positioning and expand its presence in India’s competitive home internet market.

Jain is expected to oversee brand development, consumer marketing, customer acquisition and engagement, as well as go-to-market initiatives supporting the company’s next phase of growth.

Before rejoining Excitel, Jain served as Head – Brand Activation, Trade Marketing and Distribution at VST Industries Limited, an affiliate of British American Tobacco. In that position, he was responsible for functions spanning brand activation, trade engagement and product distribution.

Jain previously served as Chief Marketing Officer at Excitel Broadband from April 2022 to October 2024. During his earlier tenure, he was involved in shaping the company’s brand and marketing strategy, including campaigns aimed at strengthening Excitel’s appeal among younger and entertainment-focused consumers.

Earlier in his career, Jain held marketing leadership positions at Godfrey Phillips India, including Group Brand Manager – Marketing and Brand Manager. He also worked as a Brand Manager at Haleon, formerly Pfizer Consumer Healthcare, and as an Assistant Sales Manager at Nestlé Health Science.

His experience across telecommunications, fast-moving consumer goods, healthcare and consumer brands brings a cross-sector perspective to the role. The appointment comes as broadband providers increasingly combine high-speed connectivity with entertainment, streaming and digital-service offerings to attract and retain household customers.

Founded in 2015, Excitel provides fibre-to-the-home broadband services across several Indian cities. The company says its network connects more than one million homes and offers internet plans with speeds ranging from 100 Mbps to 400 Mbps. It also provides entertainment-focused broadband packages combining internet connectivity with live television and access to multiple over-the-top streaming platforms.
