Humanoid Raises $152 Million to Scale AI-Powered Robot Development

London, UK-based robotics startup Humanoid has raised $152 million in a Series A funding round, taking its post-money valuation to $1.35 billion as it accelerates the development and commercial deployment of AI-powered humanoid robots.

The funding round was led by Prime Movers Lab, with participation from Bosch, Schaeffler, Aglaé Ventures and Fubon Financial. The latest investment brings Humanoid’s total funding to approximately $270 million.

Humanoid plans to deploy the capital to advance its next-generation robotic platforms, strengthen its proprietary artificial intelligence software and expand its engineering and commercial teams. The company is developing wheeled and bipedal robots designed to undertake repetitive and physically demanding work in industrial and logistics environments.

The startup is preparing beta deployments of its robots at customer locations during the fourth quarter of 2026. These initial deployments will allow the company to test its systems in operational environments and gather data for improving their reliability, adaptability and performance.

Robert Bosch Robotics, a subsidiary of German industrial technology company Bosch, will serve as the contract-manufacturing partner for Humanoid’s wheeled robots. The collaboration will provide the startup with access to Bosch’s hardware-development, supply-chain and industrial-production capabilities as it moves from prototypes towards larger-scale manufacturing.

The partnership follows a proof-of-concept project in which Humanoid’s HMND 01 robots autonomously transferred boxes of different sizes and weights from a conveyor to a trolley in a dynamic logistics environment. The project used KinetIQ, Humanoid’s proprietary AI framework, to coordinate the robotic systems.

The development is also relevant to India as manufacturers, warehouses and logistics companies increase their use of automation to improve productivity and address physically intensive operations. Advances in commercially deployable humanoid robots could create opportunities for Indian technology companies, robotics startups, engineering-service providers and component manufacturers.

Humanoid is a UK-headquartered robotics company developing general-purpose robots for industrial and commercial applications. Its platforms combine robotic hardware with proprietary AI software to help machines operate in human-designed environments and perform tasks across manufacturing, warehousing and logistics.
