
Nordstrom has elevated Jaswinder Singh to Senior Director of Software Engineering, where he will take on a broader technology leadership mandate across key areas of the company’s digital commerce operations.
In his new role, Singh will lead technology initiatives spanning commerce decisioning, pricing, promotions, product availability, and AI-driven optimisation. His responsibilities will also include supporting Nordstrom’s engineering transformation and helping strengthen its approach to technology investments.
Singh brings extensive experience in software engineering, product development, cloud technology, and digital transformation. Before joining Nordstrom, he held senior engineering leadership positions at Amazon and Expedia Group.
During his time at Amazon and Expedia Group, Singh worked across areas including Alexa, international technology, pricing platforms, and global commerce, gaining experience in developing and managing technology platforms supporting large-scale digital businesses.
Earlier in his career, Singh spent seven years at Boeing, followed by roles at The Reynolds and Reynolds Company and ANZ. His professional journey across these organisations has included responsibilities spanning engineering, technology platforms, product development, and digital transformation.
With experience across technology-intensive organisations and large-scale commerce platforms, Singh brings a combination of engineering leadership and business-focused technology expertise to his expanded role at Nordstrom.
His elevation comes as retailers continue to invest in AI, pricing intelligence, personalisation, product availability, and digital commerce infrastructure. At Nordstrom, Singh will focus on advancing engineering capabilities and technology initiatives across these areas as the company continues its digital transformation.
